The battle for identity (My FIRST POEM)

What is your purpose you may ask?

As you hide behind your mask! 

Willing to break free!!!! 

Willing to just relax and be me!!.....

What are the things to be done?

Is it all about fun?

When will i find my purpose?

And stop keeping up a rumpose!..............

Excellence is to be strive for!

but wealth many of us die for!

What is it you should strive for you may ask?

As you hide behind your mask!

Believe in the power that you have to succeed! 

believe in the knowledge that you have to achieve !

believe in the will you have to win !

Maximise your potential, realise your dreams don't throw them in a bin!  

Forget about the mocking face! 

they are in every race!

look beyond the pointing finger! 

in the future the will not linger!

There is no use in hiding! 

just ask for God's guiding!

"you have changed" they say

but you try to see where everyday 

you try to please everybody 

but that's impossible you see! 

I'll just try to be me! 

Persons tend to think you are immature 

maybe they are just insecure.

with the battle for your identity 

its out there of that i'm sure! 

There will always be competition while your trying to be the best.

your duty is to never rest! 

Do not allow the competition to make you miss out on opportunity 

Do not allow them to dictate who you are! 

you are who you perceive to be!!!
